High Fashion in the Zone

Being a high-level examination of the couture and style of the Kirinal Concordance Zone

The magic, technology, and wealth of the mulitiverse flows through the Kirinal Concordance Zone. Kirinalos love to take inpiration from latest trends from across the planes. With a gala or a ball happening somewhere in the Zone multiple times a week, fashionistas have plenty of opportunities to show off their latest acquisitions and creations!

The Annual Aurumopolis Golden Gala

The wealthiest residents of the Zone display the opulence and elegance of the multiverse with the finest fashions that money can buy. The Gala rotates between a handful of luxurious locations in the Golden Slice, including the Aurumopolis Opera House, Plunder's Pyramid, and the Bayani-Sun Casino. The event draws the elite of society, each vying to outshine the others with their exquisite attire.

Attendees of the Golden Gala don garments that reflect the white and gold grandeur of Aurumopolis itslef. Gowns and suits are crafted from luxurious materials such as Incarnation Moth silk, hex crystals, and psycho-active satins. The intricate embroidery and detailed beadwork showcase the craftsmanship of the city's renowned artisans. Aurumopolites take great pride in their ability to employ highly skilled artists full-time to make beautiful things for them.

Maharlitech accessories enhance the fashion at the Gala with techno-magical accessories and adornments. Guest wear jewelry that glow with arcane light and wear protective devices to defend them from assassins, hexes, and poison.

Lunapalooza in the Silver Slice

The first Lunapalooza took place in the Silver Gate District of Tower Town. It culminated with the revelation of the Will of Malfador to excited throngs of festival goers. Since then, Lunapalooza has become a traveling celebraiton of futuristic and avant-garde fashion. It tours the Moons and the lands of the Concordance & Sovranty, returning to its original home at least once during its annual tour.

Each year, the Blackjack Trading Troupe marks the festival's reutrn to the Silver Slice with an all-night rave, drawing revelers from across the multiverse. Attendees plan their outfits months in advance to ensure that they stand out in the crowds. Celebrants wear magi-tech garments with magical beads, holo-crystals, and color-shifting body paint, creating dazzling displays of personal creativity. They emphasize clothing that catches the eye and also allows for freedom of movement. Above all, festival-goers want to ensure that they can dance the night away in style.

The Kirinal Cotillion in Garrison City

Garrison City holds the disctinction of being the seat of government for the Sovranty of Lozar, the Concordance for Survival, and the Kirinal Council. The Kirinal Cotillion serves as the Annual Inaugural Ball for each of those governing bodies. The Garrison's unique status makes it an ideal location for the Cotillion, a grand political affair where alliances are forged, treaties negotiated, and the fate of worlds is often decided.

Steeped in tradition and ceremony, the Kirinal Cotillion is held in the Central Palace of the Zone Minister. It brings together diplomats, military leaders, and religious figures from across the multiverse. The fashion at this event reflects the gravity and formality of the occasion, with an emphasis on timeless style and understated power.

Formal attire is expected, with attendees wearing tailored suits with subtle embroidery or floor-length gowns made from the finest fabrics. The color pallettes favor deep rich hues associated with the heraldry of the attendees homeland or organization.

Powerful leaders from across the multiverse peacefully attend the Cotillion where peace is guaranteed by the Navigator of Worlds and his Kirinal Divers. Titivilus , the Ambassador of Hell can be found discussing the failure of the the Hell Week Accords with angelic representatives of the Heavenly Council. Across the room, the Magisters of Kiris negotiate trade agreements with viziers from the City of Brass.

Woo! Always excited to read a new Kitoypoy article. Can't wait to see the art you teased is coming in your Discord post. I like that you broke it down into three distinct events and would be interested in seeing how the couture of each differs when you do the art, in whatever form it might take.

FASHION. I like that you've included three distinct events where fashion would differ wildly.

I want to go, just once. I love the descriptions of the fashion, but I think that last paragraph about diplomacy really pulls the article together.
