Defences

Outside the village, before the farmland starts, is a small wooden wall. The stores and buildings of business are on the outside, then another small wooden wall, then on the inner circle is the housing, then a small stone wall, perhaps about a waist high, encloses the center of town with the town hall, courthouse, and courtyard.

Industry & Trade

Novembertown mainly exports corn and wheat when the large truck called "The Harvester" moves through the village on the paved road. The Harvester also bring in various imports that are traded, including cloth, sugar, paper, wood, salt water fish, and wax for candles or seals.
It is reported that Novembertown sometimes exports items from birds, such as feathers, meat, talons, and beaks. The village is also known to export bones, mainly to its sister village, Evening Mill.
Notably, very little money actually gets spent in Novembertown, as most of the inhabitants trade with one another or offer favors.

Infrastructure

Novembertown has various roads and paths snaking around itself. Cutting through the middle of the village is a paved road that stretches far out into the country. There is a smithy on the east side, near a sawmill by the river. There are farms on the outside of the village, stretching to the west, north and south. The main farmhouse is build on the west side of Novembertown, and smaller huts can be found throughout the farm area. There's a small butcher shop and deli near the north end, and various pastures and sheds for animals are in the south end. In the village center, there are small courtyards, a courthouse, and a town hall. Inside the town hall is an armory full of miscellaneous tools, weapons, shields, and armor from Novembertown's previous glory. There is also a place to store food in the winter or incase of emergency as well as people.

Assets

As mentioned in the town hall, there is an armory full of assorted Vampire Hunting Weapons as well a food storage for corn, wheat, and meats.
Every few years, the council that runs the village searches through the weapons and armor and tools for any that may seem of value. These typically include ones that look expensive or ones that have carvings. These items may be then considered valuables, and attempts to sell them may start. Or these valuables may be kept in the town hall incase any situation where they can be useful arises.

Guilds and Factions

In the past, Novembertown was run by numerus vampire hunting guilds, but currently it claims that nothing truly runs it besides the laws of its state.
However, there are rumors that Novembertown is still run but a hunting guild, or that it itself is one.

History

Construction for Novembertown began on October 11th, 1962. After the housing was built on June 7th, 1965, residents started moving in. It became recognized as a stable village on November 13th, 1978, and survived for nearly 40 years under the command of various vampire hunting guilds. Novembertown was notoriously not very friendly to vampires, actively attacking and hunting any nearby and creating weapons and ways of protecting oneself from vampires. It was also a very well-known safe-space for vampire hunters to avoid the law.

On May 5th, 2010, Novembertown suffered an attack that resulted in over 500 casualties and burned most of the village down. Novembertown then became an asset to vampires in the western hemisphere, but it was only used to house vampires for a few years before it was seceded back to the therianthropes in 2015 and housed therianthropic residents again.

From the attack in 2010, the houses and buildings were in serious need of repair, but the town served no use to its vampiric owners at the time, and so when ownership was restored to the therianthropes, the old buildings had to be torn, least they become a collapsing hazard. Now none of the original town stands, besides the farmland, and the area the buildings take up is much smaller than the original. However, it is a quaint little village where nothing ever changes, now.

Tourism

No one ever visits Novembertown. It is simply another quaint town in a rural area with a deep secret. The only people who really ever visit are either on business or are avoiding some law.

Architecture

Many of the houses are wood with white picket fences. However, more important buildings close to the center are made out of brick and stone.

Geography

The land is mostly flat, with soft hills on the farmland. On the east side, there is a fresh water river, and beyond the river is a small forest. However, the river is too fast moving for one to be able to access the forest.

Natural Resources

Wheat, grain, corn, leather, wool, fish, and other meat and such products from various animals are raised, grown, and harvested from the farms in the area.
