Purity Forge

The Purity Forge is a massive forge that can be used to rework evil magic items into good magic items which is found beneath Citadel Drezen. Originally, it was constructed by the demonic army as the Corruption Forge, but the party redeemed it and turned it into the Purity Forge.

Mechanics

To redeem a magic item, first start with the cost of the original item, but ignore any spell or gold requirements. The task of redemption takes 25% of the original time cost of the original item. At the end of the redemption process, the redeemer must succeed at a Spellcraft or Knowledge (religion) check to redeem the item. If the redeemer fails this check, the item is not redeemed. This process can be repeated, but it must start over from scratch. Powerful items, such as artifacts and intelligent items may have additional resistances preventing their redemption.
