The Fallen Fane

Back when Sarkoris existed, religion was complicated: there was no central faith in the realm. People worshipped many deities, both real and imagined. As a result, many small shrines exist to various deities. After the Worldwound opened, many of these shrines were lost, and the ones that remained inside the zone of influence of the Worldwound became corrupted by the demons that moved in to inhabit the Worldwound. The Fallen Fane was a shrine built into a natural cavern at the foot of the escarpment, not far from a river once known as the Gray Road.   When the Worldwound encompassed the Fallen Fane, demons moved in and changed the worship from Ragathiel to Baphomet. It also served as a waystation for the Templars of the Ivory Labyrinth. When Jorryn K'Thral was nearby, he felt a degree of sadness and hatred for the area, and quickly realized the gravity of the area. The party invaded the Fallen Fane, destroyed the defenders, and consecrated the temple for Ragathiel.
