Tairtwak: Two-Tank

Power Generation

When its tracks are not moving, the Tairtwak is able to operate completely through manpower. However, there is an electric option (as generated through solar power).

Propulsion

Movement is fueled by gasoline, and the Tairtwak runs on two tracks. The Keyrit Army has produced water- and air-tight versions for the purposes of amphibious assault or travel through soggy terrain.

Weapons & Armament

Mode 1: A single 0.5 ih (International hand) rubidium cannon, 4 ic (International cubits) in length. 360-degree range. Mode 2: A single 0.5 ih rubidium cannon, 8 ic in length. 10-degree range Both: Two machine gun turrets, placed on front left and back left corners, with one machine gunner between the two.

Armor and defense

Mode 1: Turret is elevated above tank, allowing for better directional range but opening vulnerabilities. Turret has 0.2 ih plating, 0.4 ih plating on top. Mode 2: Turret is sunk into tank body and connected with additional gun muzzle for use as tank destroyer. Tank has 0.5 ih plating, sloped at 22.62 degree angles where possible.

Communication Tools & Systems

Mode 1: Turret extends communications array, allowing for encrypted radio communication and transfer. Mode 2: Machine gun turret hole allows for Morse-style light based communication.

Sensors

Safety gauges shut down the engine in instances of extremely high temperatures, but the pilot always has manual access to the temperature. In odd cases, maverick pilots can disable the safety gauges, though most of said rebels have been known to blow up.

Additional & auxiliary systems

For long campaigns, the tank comes equipped with a week's rations. The engine doubles as a heater for cooking food, and tents are folded next to the suspension.

Hangars & docked vessels

Included with the ammunition are clockwork mines, which can propel themselves forward and embed themselves in nearby soil. The body of the Tairtwak is elevated enough to avoid triggering the mines upon impact, but it's protocol to always let the mines go to the sides of the tank.
