Hoondarrh

Hoondarrh; the name would strike fear in the youngest of creature’s hearts in Mintarn. Everyone in Mintarn knows the name, and could share a tale or two about when the red devil decides to visit. Hoondarrh, you see, is no malevolent dragon only interested in treasure. His interest lies in the stories of man. He feeds off of man’s fear, and loves to cause it himself. The creature watches over Mintarn from his perch, striking without a moment's notice. He knows that he could burn the city to the ground without much effort, but he prefers to torture the inhabitants. I have heard tales of him causing earthquakes and raining fire from the skies just to watch the city crumble and burn. Course, it is him who also protects the city from outsiders who would like nothing more than to turn the port into another trading post governed by harsh laws and harsher punishment. To Hoondarrh, laws are boring, he wants to watch the chaos. The saying in Mintarn is “If the deal is too sweet, there’s a dragon waiting in the shadows."
