A Deal with a Dragon

It's been said around Stonehenge, to watch out if you pass along the base of the mountains to the East. Those who take the road to the sea in the shadow of these peaks keep an eye to the sky. According to legend there was once a massive settlement upon of of the peaks. A coalition of Dwarves from below and Elves from above, that share the land to create things you wouldn't believe. with the melding of hundreds of minds, from two seemingly opposite worlds, they crafted and sculpted beyond your wildest dreams. But this city of art and technology was quickly abandoned following the arrival of an immense foe. A dragon, from the depths of the forest, drawn by their vast riches arrived in the town plaza. Not much is known of this meeting, some say there was fire and bloodshed, some say there was peaceful diplomacy, but what is known for certain is that the people of this colony left willingly. Bringing with them only stories of their wondrous creations. Leaving their forges, their tools, and their inventions behind to join the hoard of the terrible beast.
