28th Heroes of the Green Star

Once per decade, hopeful would-be heroes register their names to be selected in the great Hero Lottery. Six winners are selected to form a group of adventurers who are sent out from the protective walls of the city, in the hopes of fulfilling the Green Star prophecy and restore life back to the platinum lands. Following up on a lead from the survivor of the 23rd Heroes of the Green Star, the group ventured into the mountains like so many teams before them, searching for an abbey where a long-dead monk may have written about a green star falling. They made it to Ironstone Abbey but met their doom being overwhelmed by the undead. Tanya Goldtalon was the only survivor, getting away and fleeing back to civilization, where she was confined to a sanitorium for years to work through her trauma.
