Mystra's Ban

Mystra's Ban is a divine decree which limits magic within the Inner Planes to 9th Level. Any attempt to cast spells greater than this will invoke the wrath of Mystra, as well as all her followers. Although attributed to the Goddess of Magic herself, Mystra's Ban was set and agreed upon by the entire pantheon.
