Pre-History

Records and stories prior to the founding of Estalia are extremely limited. These histories tell of a time of conflict and displacement, which forced them out of their homes and towards the newly-created silver city. The homeland of these people is up for debate, with theories ranging from a warlord rounding up various tribes across Wyrring, refugees from Ostrangard, or refugees from unknown lands to the west.
In addition to these records, archaeologists have found several ruins throughout the continent. Although originally believed to be human constructions, recent studies have suggested that they are instead elvish. The frequency and pervasiveness of these structures suggest there was once one or multiple large Elf Empires which ruled the coast.
