Home to the Oracle of the goddess Ananke, Erike is a Gorgorian-controlled city whose entire identity is shaped around faith and prophecy. The Far-Sighted One boasts not one, but two temples which dominate this relatively small city. Though the city itself dates all the way back to the Ancient Age, it is not an archaic city-state.

Demographics

Erike derives much of its wealth from the near-endless flow of pilgrims who flock to the city to seek the Oracle's wisdom. As a result, its economy centers around the hospitality industry and the small tax levied on the extreme wealth of the Oracle's Temple. 
It is a majority Gorgorian and Minoan city, as neither the Bennu nor the Crocotta put much faith in a foreign goddess.
