Historical Details
Background
The original 5th volume is known for being quite different in subject and tone from the rest as the book was never technically completed. Tresmenne died before he could finish and properly formalize his writings, thus Demonology is moreso a collection of Tresmenne's research notes, put together by one of his apprentices.
Legacy
Some cities that put children through formal schooling today use the collection as classroom encyclopedias. All schools who use the Origin as textbooks either use an updated edition of the 5th volume, or exclude it from the collection entirely due to it's subject matter.
