Physical Work Industry

When you can't trust your government, or need something that's dubiously legal, you can always rely on Physical Workers to do the work you don't want to.   Freelance Physical Work (FPW) is a line of work where people, typically in unionized groups of workers, will carry out a mission of any variety for an agreed-upon amount of money (So long as the task being assigned fits within the boundaries and "will dos" and "will not dos" of the group or individual). It could be as simple as helping an elderly citizen move into their new home for a price cheaper than the average moving company to something as extreme as raiding a space pirate's base of operations simply to wreck their shit out of spite for something they did to the paying party.   Group members of Freelance Physical Workers (FPWrs) can still work as independent workers as well and still be a part of said group. Individuals who are also part of a group usually become Elites (see below) much faster than those that stick to one type of FPW.   When FPWrs unionize under one group, the group typically has a set name to help differentiate from other FPWrs. Below is a small list of FPW groups as examples of what a group name is typically decided as.
  • FOREST FPW
  • Assistance Association
  • SLAUGHTERHIVE
  • talk abt it
  • Makeshift Military
  • MatchMakers
  • SOLAR TOUR
  • F(r)ee Ridez
  • Backstabbers
When an FPWr (Freelance Physical Worker) works independently, they either have a codename decided (usually to keep authorities off of their backs if they open themselves to illegal lines of work) or just go by a nickname or their first name. Below is a small list of individual FPWs as examples of the various identities individual workers go as.
  • StarKiller
  • Wawa
  • Sadaboj
  • FOREST
  • MavWer
  • PINIT
  • Heji
  • OPIOPTIC
  • Q
Within the Physical Work industry, an FPWr with a lot of experience under their belt will promote themselves to an Elite Physical Worker (EPWr). EPWrs are different from FPWrs in that where clients to FPWrs will put out an application for any one group or individual to offer their services for, clients for EPWrs have to approach the EPWr directly and ask for their services specifically. Here are two example scenarios:
  • A Human  has not heard from their mother in a concerningly long time and is worried something may have happened to her. The human goes online to the main Physical Work notice board and puts up an application urging any group or individual to find their mother for a specified amount of money. This application will be taken by an FPWr and will be ignored by EPWrs because the Human did not search the various EPWr profiles and asked an EPWr directly to handle the issue.
  • An Artificial Anomanite is looking to get back at the scientist that made them. They want to make sure their intentions are carried out well enough to make sure the scientist in question understands how upset they are. To make sure this is carried out to the highest quality they can afford, they browse various EPWr profiles until they find one they are satisfied with and reach out to the EPWr personally to give them the details of the mission directly. This is the only way to hire an EPWr.
EPWrs are also usually looked up to as leaders of FPW groups and often still partake in FPW if they are part of a group. FPW groups with EPWrs include FOREST FPW (FOREST), SLAUGHTERHIVE (Starkiller), and Backstabbers (Q).
