Kapaerian Island Inhabitants

The population of Kapaerian Island is approximately 80% shulassakar, and 20% others who have traveled there over the last several thousand years, as well as recently kidnapped individuals from the western coast of Xen'drik.

• Erandi: a shulassakar woman (bloodsworn), met by the Scoops scouting the island with Pik'ik'it, and her "hummingbird", Tialli.
• Yaretzi: a shulassakar woman (bloodsworn), current political leader of the shulassakar (and therefore all of Kapaerian Island), overseeing military and bureaucratic business. She took over from her sister, who is presumed dead in the siege of Teotihuacan. Tends to be gruff and to-the-point.
• Mazatl: a shulassakar man (flametouched), and the current spiritual leader of the shulassakar, overseeing practice of the religion and various traditions, as well as supervising many of the casters, especially the druids and clerics. Though his headdress is smaller than others, he himself is covered in feathers; Yaretzi tends to defer to his judgement. He is very insightful - aided by his flametouched abilities - and tends to have a calm head, not rushing to judgement.
• Cipactli: lead artificer at Chichen Itza.
