Severance, initially a right hand to Fierna and Belial, the archdukes of Phlegethos, now stands as their voice and will when it comes to Council matters on the Material Plane. While he often gets generalized as one who can speak as an expert on matters of the Nine Hells, he only stands for one of the Nine. Not all Archdevils are so willing to align with beings of the Material Plane.
