Barca

Barca Yirmi-Ölçer

'I can't believe there is mutant meat in the kebabs.' - Barca '20-gauge'
Born on the open frontier, Barca is moreso accustomed to living outside the city. This fish out of water however, he got rather more familiar with it faster than expected. Save the mutants, and gas fuel not being as rare as at home.
______
Barca prides himself on his ancestors from ancient Terra, known as the Turkish. In the spirit of this, his parents have crossed the many worlds of the Imperium seeking to replicate the circumstances of the nomadic Turks, in hopes that one day one of their sons may achieve the greatness of ancient Turkey. Loves his drink. Really loves his drink.

Should he gain command, he expects blind obedience. He regularily writes his mother, every month. Every weekend he tries to indulge in Turkish Delight and Rakı. He enjoys shish-kebab. He's very rude, and open with dislikes. He tends to drink a lot of coffee when on duty, Turkish style.

When it comes to maintaining the law, he is quite by the book. Only downside is he doesn't know the book. But he will beat up criminals or low-lifes first chance he gets. That said, if someone gets in the way of enforcing the law, be it even a fellow arbites, he'll crush them. On his home planet, he roamed the frontier with a nomadic car-gang (Fasbender's Gangers). Part peacekeepers and pillagers, he learned a twisted sort of discipline from it all. There, he was a Captain, He got familiar with torture methods. Barca was given a few contracts to kill certain targets back on his native Frontier world. These contracts were clearly official imperial documents, akin to bounties but quite peculiarly (bureaucratically) structured. Furthermore, pay only included enough for expenses involved and listed 'the Emperors Gratitude' as part of the pay. But, Barca was bored or desperate enough to accept anyway. Maybe it was a sense of justice. Maybe it was the action. After completing these Barca received his pay and a conscription notice from the Adeptus Arbites. However, what stood out was the seal, and cryptic phrase, "Your actions shall be observed with keen interest".

Finally, he was given an archaeic looking dataslate, which upon startup would make a distinctive "ping" sound, and display the text, "Awaiting Transmission..."
