Pious

Traitor Commissar Obadiah Pious

Sentenced to the penal unit Bogan Brigade, for the murders of two children. Pious shot the children in cold blood in front of their parents, he had bound and forced to watch. At trial he pled 'not guilty' to the charges, however due to the overwhelming testimony presented to the court by the other members of his unit he was found guilty and sent to the Bogan Brigade.

In order to scrounge some minuscule amount of power for himself, Pious applied to the Commissariat and due to a clerical error was excepted as a Commissar Cadet. He used this power to cajole the other members of his unit into doing what he wanted and threaten them with summery execution if they refused. In one incident prior to the Bogan Incident, it is reported that Pious drew his sidearm on a civilian who was in the process of giving information to allied forces. In response to him actively impeding the allied effort and threatening a non-combatant, Cpl. Alex 'Taz' Carter held him at gunpoint until he was no longer a threat to the informant. As a result Jr. Commissar Pious later attempted to corner the then Lt. Carter, ending with him murdering Cpl. Dingo. Before Lt. Carter could respond, Cpt. Gilliam Bernardon detonated a Virous bomb.

The Officio Prefectus has posthumously found him guilty of treachery, cowardice, the murders of all members of the 8th Air Corps: Bogan Brigade and has subsequently been declared a Traitor Commissar and enemy of the Imperium of Man.
