Shadows in the Mist

This is the first short story in the Xéno Édafos Series, following on from the events of Purple Hazing, after which Lt. Carter recovers and gets swept up by the Ordo Xenos and is tasked with investigating the mysterious Lesh of Édafos.

Now on Édafos, Lt. 'Taz' Carter must work tirelessly while under cover among the 25th Fiann Regiment, to investigate the Mystery of Lesh Valley on the behalf of the Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Davrus. As of yet unidentified creatures have been attacking patrols and forward operating bases. The locals call them the Lesh, and stories of them have existed in the Valley for quite a while. However with the impending threat of the Acolytes of Lepidor, time is running out and the Lesh must be dealt with. Failure could result in the deaths of both, her and her newly found friends the Fiann Hunter's.
