Ziv

Guardsman Donald Walton

"Voice Of Chaos, guide me."

Ziv, the Living Stink (And Mothman)

Formerly a Guardsman in the Imperium of Man, Donald Walton turned to Chaos only after he had seen his entire regiment slain in a siege orchestrated by the forces of Chaos. The defense all but broken, and not only guilty from being the lone survivor and by no means strong enough to warrant the mercy, Walton turned mostly mad. Walton still wonders why he was not the last kill of the siege, and in his bloodlust he shot at the besieging force and was spared only by the grace of the besieging party of the Word Bearer legion. Their leader only chuckled at his efforts before knocking him out and bringing him to a Chaos priest, who in time helped turn Walton (Now Ziv) entirely to Chaos' cause. That Chaos priest, known to Ziv as the Voice of Chaos, acted as a mentor in heresy.

Lost and Damned like the rest of Chaos' former Imperial denizens, Ziv sought out the powers of Chaos along with helping to expand it's influence. While Ziv is but a speck compared to the greater forces of Chaos, he has grown to a higher class of warfare than he once did as a guardsman.

Ziv the Savant

It wouldn't be long before Ziv truly started to feel at home in Chaos' embrace. A mere year thereafter, he had grown a personality of his own, very much unlike the guardsman that was. Unsatisfied with the staunch hierarchy of the Imperium. Obsessed with the gods of Chaos. A twisted mirror image of the man that once was.

While he has mostly recovered from his berserking state, and has grown not only more calculating but also a well planned powerhouse for Chaos. Devoted to one half of the Chaos pantheon, Khorne and Nurgle, he has grown to prefer the medical knowledge and toughness inherent in siding with him. However, he is not only locked to preferences towards his almost expected 'patron' god. He is also very fond of the brutish and powerful abilities derived from Khorne.

Something Ziv had also not realized as a Imperial Guardsman was that his regiment, the Cadian 666th Regiment, was sent into the Screaming Vortex as part of a nigh suicide mission. It made Ziv bitter even more towards the Empire. Not only was he sent and left to die in the Vortex, but his whole regiment had been abandoned to the same fate.

He has never quite been sure which of the worlds in the Screaming Vortex that was his birthplace, but Ziv would claim it to be Hinderance.

Ultimately, Ziv's past can be summed up as:
  • The Boy on Cadia
  • The Last Guardsman on Hindrance
  • The Apostle of the Voice
