Tiamat, the queen of chaos

Unlike what her brothers claim, Tiamat was the first out of the five children to hatch out of her egg. Essentially since then she was the most arrogant out of them. She would always proudly exclaim that she was actually the oldest, which Bahamut and Xezos took as a point to tease their sister, through telling her it wasn’t true. Through the years Tiamat grew to become the pride one out of them. With pride, however, also comes arrogance as she was not just proud in being a dragon deity, but also grew to see everyone else as inferior to herself. The only exception are her own creations. Just like her brothers she also got the chance to create her own breed of dragons. Unlike Bahamut, who based his dragons on the metals he found in the world, Tiamat based them on her own personality traits. Most chromatic Dragons, as they are now known, are viscous, aggressive and unpredictable just like their creator. Tiamat, however, also experimented a lot more with creating races out of nowhere. She was the one who started her rituals or experiments to create the Dragonborns. It was more successful then she had ever expected. The race itself was very obedient at first. Her chromatic Dragonborns were especially obedient, mostly out of fear of their creator though. Tiamat, and her chromatic dragons, treated their Dragonborns as nothing more then slaves. After all, they were created for this purpose and inferior to them, so why shouldn’t they abuse them? After the successful Dragonborn rebellion, Tiamat began a new experiment. This time without the help of her siblings. Her new race was a new, disfigured people made out of humans, halflings, dwarves, elves and many more. She infused them with her draconic magic, which disfigured their skin or arms or sometimes even intellect. Even though this new race, called Dragontouched, works arguably better then her first attempt at creating a slave race for herself. However, even this new race is showing signs of disobedience, much to the annoyance of Tiamat.
Chromatic Dragons are considered to be extremely aggressive towards anything that moves and isn’t accepting their dominance. They are divided in red, green, black, blue and white dragons. Just as stated in the section about Bahamut, chromatic Dragons are known to be the embodiment of destruction and fear. They do not care what they burn to the ground, when they feel like doing so they will do so. Its not uncommon for chromatic dragons to attack other dragons, both chromatic as well as metallic dragons. Gem dragons, however, are quite feared by chromatic dragons as they are the only race that they see as equals to themselves. Their metallic cousins on the other hand, are seen as inferior, as Bahamut is also seen as a lesser deity, just like Garyx and Xezos. Chromatic dragons also make up the majority of the dragon population, which puts Tiamat in the strongest position out of the deities, at least if Asgorath and his gem dragons are not counted into the equation. They call Yhdragon their home, which is the province Tiamat is in charge of. However, they are known to live wherever they please to live.
Tiamats appearance reflects both her intimidation but also her attractiveness. She is the only draconic deity that often uses her human form, but her dragon form is the most known form. Her main body is coloured in a bright red, with beautiful, heavy scales that can break any sword that hits them. Next to her main head, she also has four other heads in the colour of the other chromatic dragons. Maestars belief that Tiamat experimented on herself to gain these four new heads and that she managed to also create four more hearts that reside in these heads. Obviously she is a deity anyway and therefore unable to die, but yet these story exists. Perhaps they are nothing more then stories to scare children, but maybe there is a certain truth to it as well. Her human form on the other hand, changes every time. However, she always appears as a very beautiful woman who rivals the beauty of Mania. Some claim Tiamat is more beautiful then the goddess of Lust, but everyone shall decide it for themselves.
