Once ravenous and voracious creatures, in the more recent centuries, the diversity of trolls have grown. Some being able to form words and coherent sentences, while others maintain the status quo of their more monstrous ancestors. In some extreme circumstances, they are able to live peacefully among other races and humanoids.
