Blowout

Blowout, or core blowout, is an always fatal condition where a robot's core overheats to the point of exploding.

HISTORY

  (tba)

SYMPTOMS & DIAGNOSIS

In core blowout, the core's energy combined with dangerously high heat levels leads to the core to explode and shatter.   Leading up to core blowout, a robot will be extremely hot, delirious, and have severe pain in the chest.

CAUSE & TRANSMISSION

Core Blowout is caused by and moderate to severe thermal regulator failure, but can also be caused by erratic signal (ES) and premature core deterioration (PCD).

TREATMENT & PROGNOSIS

Core blowout is always fatal, as the explosion causes the core to shatter and be destroyed. However core blowout is the result of an underlying condition, such as core overheat, which is treatable in most cases.
