While not exactly the brightest bulb in the socket and socially awkward as can be, Nuru has a big heart.
At only 58 years old, Nuru is considered to still be in his 'prime', as Xon robots can live well over a 100. However years of chronic stress and physical labor has taken its toll on his body (and mind), and he's exceedingly frail and unsteady.
He is Halt and Rend's father and the widowed husband of Voyage.
