Bram Cerridwen of the Romanian vampire clan Moroi

Bram was born in a small Albanian enclave predominantly populated by vampires. The Albanian Ministry of Magic classifies vampires as beasts, and thus Bram was not permitted to receive a formal magical education. He was taught by members of his coven the fundamentals, but was never able to progress very far as he lacked access to a wand. After reaching maturity, Bram immigrated to Britain to seek a better future for himself. He enrolled in magic correspondence courses, bought his first wand, and found a job with the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. After the birth of his daughter, Bram stepped away from Ministry work and devoted his time to caring for his daughter, though he would occasionally serve as a consultant
