An earthquake of great magnitude swept across the entire supercontinent causing wide destruction.

One solace afternoon in the middle eastern region of the supercontinent was abruptly disrupted as the earth beneath the region begun splitting into two.    The wake of the earthquake had split the entire supercontinent in half with it creating the Clysmara Sea and the  great underwater trench, the Hallowbyss, below that separates the now new created continent of Aeniya from the once supercontinent, Poiiuxi    The earthquake's magnitude was capable of being felt all across the great expanse, causing great devastation with all the biomes within the region being destroyed, fortunately, the world at the time didn't have that many individuals residing in the mortal realm. The cause of such a disaster was traced back to its epicenter in what's known as the Serpent's Gullet in present time, where the goddess Calamitie had one of her early disastrous potentials unfolding.
