Alliance of the Fathomless

After Hygrodinbaal was killed those humans under his banner split up into minor factions only allying to push back against the Hegemony of Fire. The result was a group of city states claiming their independence.

Later on the first pirate captains started to reach out to the Fathomless for power. With more and more captains doing so, even those who didn't became warlocks themselves started to accept the idea of being united under his protection.

Now all harbours or ships flying the flag of the Fathomless are considered taboo for other pirates of the alliance, but besides some cooperation to stay independent and services provided by harbours these isn't a close knit group. They still have captains meeting in the Pirates' Bay each spring to discussion territories and rules among each other.

While they hate sahuagin, they respect the Duchy of Merryldin and enjoy the challenge of hunting those elves on the open sea.
