Demon Pantheon
The Demon Pantheon is not really a pantheon as the demon princes are not considered gods. Yet there powers reach close to those of gods and they are also pretty much immortal. Each and every one of them considers himself as center of the univers and only seeks domination and utter distruction everything they can't control.
While there are constant power struggles within the Abyss and the powers of the individual demons is in constant flux. Minor demons might perish and new arise, but in all that chaos five established themselves as the big rulers of the layers. Each of them would love to annihilate the other four, but they know they need each others to finally end the Blood War and conquer the Infernal plane getting rid of their worst and most bitter rivals within the Multivers - the devils.
While most of their demonic forces fight in the Abyss or on the first layer of the Inferal plane all demons seek to corrupt souls on other planes of existance, mainly though on the Prime Material plane. Whenever there is an opportunity they invade the Material plane either to spread the corruption or to gather artefacts or other resources to support their efforts in the Blood War. Whatever their goals are they always bring death, despair and destruction with them.
Only the most depraved souls would praise the names of the demon princes. Usually it takes a some time to gradually introduce someone into a cult and brainwash the individual to support the utter destruction of the world and their own existence. The more dedication they show the more gifts they receive from their lords, turning them more powerful. While humans are very common cultists among all demon princes, some of the princes gather more feral races among their followers, while others have more success corrupting elves. The more emotional the target is the bigger chance to be seduced to the more extremes forms of those feelings that feed the demons.
