Galinndan

Galinndan can trace back his linage to the old Elven Empire, but his family settled down in the territory of the Realm of the Middle. While he grew up within the Realm he never tried to integrate more than necessary into the human society, prefering to surround himself with fellow elves.

He entered the service of Lia Artanis as a bodyguard and instructor for those protecting her court and later on the estate of her husband, Roben Vestergaard. Over the years he didn't just instruct the guards serving Lia, but also worked as a instructor for others, mainly humans looking to learn elvish, fighting or just to be able to claim to have had an elvish tutor. These experiences didn't endear humans to him and he often feels offended by the human attempts at appropriating elven culture for their own.

Even though he doesn't like humans much he is thankful towards Roben Vestergaard, Lia's husband, for financing the elven enclave on his vineyard. Though every now and then he forgets that the human is actually his superior and not just some human working there. Galinndan's loyality towards Lia runs deep even though she has a clearly more friendly attitude towards humans and their culture.
