Great Fang

The Great Fang is said to be a former cleric of Caldis who was cursed with Lycanthropy - some even suggesting he was the first Werewolf - who then turned against his god, who denied him to transform back to his human form and now the former cleric is forced to appear as a wolf or a hybrid.

The conflict between the holy man and his god began as he realised what damage Caldis was causing by dominating nature. The man who became the Great Fang swore to correct the crimes against nature his god and his followers committed. It is unclear if this happened before his curse or if being damned by his god opened his eyes for the reality.

The Great Fang isn't recognized as part of the human pantheon and instead viewed as a cult. While most of the other churches don't care too much about this group it naturally has a bloody conflict with the church of Caldis. The cult is only spread in the Far Lands and even there only worshiped behind closed doors or in small communities.


Worshipers of the Great Fang believe nature will regulate itself and it has its own ways. Their duty is to protect it from dark influences like Caldis's attempts to dominate it.
