Half-Orcs

Half-Orcs are the result of humans and orcs mixing. Though very rare in the beginning after centuries whole tribes of mixed blood existed to the point that now the most common half-orcs are desecendents of half-orcs and only rarely the children of a human and a orc parents.

Orcs were respected by the Elven Empire as warriors and had many join the empire during the wars against the goblinoids and dragons. Many of these stayed in the southern part of the Empire, even when the human armies truimphed against the elves. Since then the half-orcs have become more and more common, though mostly in the Realm in the Middle as well as some along the coast of the Bloodsea joining the Alliance of the Fathomless.

While the half-orcs within the Realm tend to have a good reputation and are often sought after as warriors and guards, those along the Bloodsea have a nefarious reputation as bandits and pirates. Some attest it to the historic role of orcs being used to fight the Morskani, but the truth lies in many half-orcs actually coming to the bloodsea to offer their services to pirates and bandit lords.
