Hensen van Valdenhorst
Hensen van Valdenhorst was the head of a small noble family living in the hinterlands serving the lord/lady of Bertraggen.
Married to Jamilija van Valdenhorst they were desperately trying to get children. They both often reached out to the church of the Child for help, but it appeared to be to no avail. Only at the age of 39 he finally became father of twins in the year 416 YoU followed by three more late pregancies. The surprising pregancies were seen by some as mircales as Jamilija was herself 35 for the first and many deemed her to be too old for a successful birth. Yet in the end Hensen and his wife had only one of the children dying.
To the surprise of many of those knowing the family the blessing of children didn't turn the family to be more cheerful for long. After the second pregancy they became a lot more reclusive. With the death of their forth child during birth and then the health challenged fifth many other houses stopped bothering them as Hensen's brooding mood was too off putting for most.
Hensen showed very little interest in political matters and instead became more and more distant regarding everything not related to his household. He also didn't seem to push his children in any specific direction - at least from what was visible on the outside.
