Jamilija van Valdenhorst
Jamilija van Valdenhorst was a very pious woman dedicated to the worship of the Child. Her believes were though put to a sternuous test as she and her husband weren't able to become pregnant for a very long time. Only at the age of 35 she finally broke the perceived course when she brought her twins Abdiel and Henriette to the world.
The blessing - as seen by many - continiued four years later when her second son Volkan was born. While Hensen became more reclusive in those years, Jamilija could be still seen enjoying her life with the newborns until four years later another pregagnancy ended with a deadborn girl. Many expected something like this happening with a woman at her advanced age it still struck the mother hard. She also stopped participating in social gatherings.
In 428 YoU at the age of 47 Jamilija surprisingly became pregnant once more and successfully gave birth to a son. Yet this event left her and the child weakened and sick. From then on she was barely seen outside. The sick boy Bertham became her obsession, she didn't want to share with the world. Those who saw her in the following years couldn't believe the decline in health they wittnessed. Some pointed out that since the twins were born there seemed to have been a split between Jamilija and the church of the Child, as prior to it the church's caretaker was a frequent and honored guest at the van Valdenhorst's estate. This lead to rumors that the child and her were punished by the god for a lack of gratitude.
