Jhessalia 'Jhess' Duremain

Jhessalia was born around Saara, but her mother moved them to Korbel looking for work. The city proved to be a rough spot for them both until one day Jhessalia at the age of 12 got snatched by city guards for some made up claim of her stealing something.

She spent the next two weeks in a cellar where she met up a young half-orc called Yandrak and other prisioners. It didn't take long for her to realize that they would not have a trail and instead end up as slaves as they were packed in cages on a chart.

After being on the road for two days and additional boy was brought to the carawan and put in her and Yandrak's cage. The young human was called Bloddwyn and to her surprise even understood a couple of words in abyssal. The two became fast friends.

The journey took them for several months on the road passing east of the stone desert, through Rafalquor and Eversted to finally end up at Rykthaven. Through that time she taught Bloddwyn proper abyssal and he managed to sneak in a sharp stone to cut their ropes and keep more comfortable. Through all this time they took as much care of each other as the circumstances permitted.

Once in Rykthaven they were put in a cell at a warehouse, but after a day or two guards came to take her. While she was dragged out, Bloddwyn yelled that she should tie a blue ribbon on her window so that he could find her and he swore that he would without knowing if she even heard him...

Three years would pass before Bloddwyn would be able to find out what happened to her. Based on the information he got, she was bought from the slavers by Valderbach on behalf of city councilor Obus Beq.

437 Y.o.U. the two would finally meet again during the public trail of the priests Olric Fireheart and Saskia. To Bloddwyn's surpise though at this point Jhessalia was serving Obus Beq of her own free will.
