Lovraen
Lovraen comes from a family whose linage goes back to the empiral court with many of them being sages and councilors to influential personalities. Even as the empire was defeated and crumbled the family managed to save its own library and pass it down through the family line.
Lovraen follows his family tradition and is the current curator of the library. By joining Lia Astranis court at her husbands vineyard he brought the library with him thanks to the support of Roben Vestergaard. Lovraen repays the protection this arrangement offers by teaching the couple's children and supporting them with his vast knowledge of history, alchemy and other areas.
The sage shows no animosity towards the humans, but he has a certain level of pride in being an elf with an old clean linage. He is more interested in knowledge than political ideals. He also incourages people to not just ask him, but instead to check the sources themselves, though he will glady point out where to find those.
In the early 437 YoU a group of elven refuges from Rykthaven came to Flushavs. As those were welcomed and housed by Lia Artanis-Vesergaard they showed their gratitude by performing songs and dances. The refugees saw Lovraen as someone who would recognize the festivites as rites to Haradim so they immediately tied him up in a shed, as everybody else was distracted by the initial exhebitions. After the initial delights the performances soon turned into manic hedonistic feasts and orgies. While the abyssal influences spread in the town, the leaders of the elven group tortured the old tutor to death.
