The Dawnfather

Structure

The all male church is lead by priests called 'Father' with the 'High Father' on top.
Fathers are also in charge of Paladins of the Father, but usually don't interfere with their work and trust them to deal with military matters.

Public Agenda

The church's main responsibility is the preservation of life and health, but no for any price as they see death as a natural part of life. Yet the chruch has a strong sense of justice and protects the law for without order there will be only destruction and chaos.

Mythology & Lore

The Dawnfather is the god of life that came to the humans. He is the protector of life and the conterpart of his wife the Duskmother. While they share churches, they have very opposite followers. At dawn you can observe the cermony as the Dawnfather's priests enter the church from the side of the rising sun and lead the Duskmother's believers out of the building in the opposite exits.
While both religions will usually confront and challenge each other there is a truce on church grounds and the rituals are to be respected.

The main religious building is the Cathedral of Day in Eversted. Its a large rotund building that is encircled by to semi circular buildings on the western and eastern side. The western side is know as the building of the Dawnfather and houses his priesters, while the eastern building is dedicated to the priesthood of the Dawnmother. The central building is used by both based on the sun cycle.
