Lichenathrope

Broken down between stable, and unstable, these creatures have been afflicted with some manner of fungal infection that is either impossible to cure or simply incredibly difficult to do so. Stable Licenathropes are usually ones that have a symbiotic relationship with their colony, but this is not a hard and fast rule. Rather it simply means that they have an average life span for a creature of their race while unstable variants have their lifespan drastically reduced or in some cases raised to dizzying heights.
