Imlad

The Valley Jewel is the religious center of Valaria, and home to the largest church devoted to the Enduring Pantheon.  Many make pilgrimages to Imlad in search of religious enlightenment, and others make their journey there in search of cures for diseases, removal of curses, and healing of major injuries.  Imlad is also home to the Remnants, a mercenary group started by the remains of the now disbanded Enduring Crusaders.

Population: 43,670 (38% Humans, 28% Elves, 15% Dwarves, 10% Halfling, 9% other races)
Government: Registrar Saffir Singrund is acting head of Imlad's local government.  However, she shares much of her power with the heads of the Enduring Pantheon, such as Talindra X'oriel.  Many citizens turn to the church for help in justice and settling of disputes, leading Saffir to feel somewhat inept in her duties.
Commerce: The main source of commerce in the city comes from both donations to the church, and the churches healing services.  The Remnants also bring in a fair amount of coin accepting many mercenary jobs and bounties.
