Ovanus

Ovanus is the Elven capital of Valaria, and known as the Shimmering City.  All who have traveled to the city speak of the buildings made of glass-like malachite, and the flora brought from the Feywild that dot the streets and gardens.  The city was one of the last to be brought under the Stagfell flag, and there is still some resentment to this day.  Many older elves remember days of elves ruling elves, and missing that freedom.  Newer generations of elves however, bask in the mixing of cultures becoming part of the Kingdom of Valaria.

Population: 58,900 (81% Elves, 8% Humans, 6% Gnomes, 5% other races)
Government: Lord Vabaros Doxarim rules over Ovanus, he tries to remain as independent and autonomous from the rest of the Valarian Kingdom, however representatives of Jotun stay within his court to keep him in check.
Commerce: The mages of Ovanus provide many enchanting services for adventurers and Vyvik for their soldiers.  Citizens of Ovanus also find plenty of game to hunt and then sell in the Umbral Wood, and some can even find Feywild flora and fauna in the woods to sell as exotic goods.
