The God-Clash

A war between two divine forces, fought on a mortal coil.  The Cabal tried to stake their claim as new gods, while the combined forces of Sehanine and Pholtus sought to stop them in their tracks.  The war culminated on the continent of Mazzelheim, where Bane entered the battle in his new, terrible form.  Pholtus met him there, and together with Sehanine, ripped the moon, Tonus, from the cosmos and brought it down upon Bane and his forces.  The forces of Bane were decimated, as was the Mazzelheim continent.  The Dwarf citizens of Mazzelheim retreated to the Valarian continent, fleeing from the ruined lands of the impact site.  The continent was renamed Lunarfell, and the Black-Lands of Tonus' crash site has become a haven for treasure hunters and bizarre creatures mutated by the residual divine energies.
