Yongqin
Yongqin is the ancient kingdom of air that was destroyed when the Sororibus Egis was created to separate the fae realm of Lyfeldea from the mortal realm of Venadeus. While the majority of the kingdom now lies in ruin, any remaining infrastructure has been utilised by the new kingdom of mist, Wù Yánróng, in particular a temple that has been repurposed as the new palace.
History
Yongqin was the first kingdom of air elemental magic in Lyfeldea, which was destroyed during the creation of the Sororibus Egis, the magical barrier created by the eight sister deities that protects the people of Lyfeldea from harm by the selfish and greedy mortals created by the god of war, Augivedem, who resides in neighbouring continent of Venadeus. During the creation of the barrier, hundreds of stone peaks rose from the ground and decimated any structures that has been constructed by the kingdom of Yongqin, and any citizens who remained in the kingdom perished during the freak natural event. A small number of Yongqin's citizens were able to escape by boat to a small island off the coast of Yongqin and Kawatsuki. The island is right near the border of the Sororibus Egis and is not recorded on any current maps. This small tribe of fae still exist today, and will help reform Yongqin (now Wu Yanrong) when they realise it has begun to be revitalised by Wenjun Lin. Prior to the stone peaks forming, Yongqin had a very similar geography to Kawatsuki.
Geography
Yongqin sits in the middle section of the prominent mountain range that runs along the eastern side of Lyfeldea. There are many rivers and the kingdom also has access to a small section of coastline. The terrain is mostly a combination of tropical and subtropical moist forests, temperate coniferous forests and temperate broadleaf forest, the latter particularly occuring where the kingdom borders its sister kingdom of Kawatsuki.
