The Twins Conflict
When the twins were newly born, due to gods ability to age quickly the twins were already able to walk and talk. Eurstreich realized very quickly he loved to trick others. Eurstreich knew he couldn't get away with tricking the other gods, but he could trick his older, hot-headed, brash brother.
Eutstreich went up to his brother who was snapping the heads off of lizards. Eurstreich said, "Hello brother, I have found a great chasm in the ground, would you care to look at it with me." Eurhelles was very curious and wanted to join the company of his brother. He agreed and the two young gods, traveled many miles together on their tiny baby feet to the chasm Eurstreich spoke of.
When the twins arrived at the canyon, Eurhelles was amazed at the beauty the chasm presented. This pit was many miles deep and there were several pointed spikes down below. Eurstreich smiled with glee as he thought of the trick he would present.
"Brother did you know that gods can fly," Eurstreich exclaimed.
"I did know this."
Eurstreich smiled and said, "Only the most powerful gods can do it after they're born." You're a powerful god yourself are you not?"
Eurhelles thought about this for a moment and replied, "yes, yes I am, I am one of the most powerful gods there is."
"Then prove it to me, brother."
And Eurhelles did, he stepped out over the chasm. Unfortunately, the lie Eurstreich told him was untrue, no god can truly fly right after they're born. So he quickly fell the many miles down, onto the spiked rocks below. Eurstreich laughed with glee at this wondrous prank he played on his brother. Eurhelles was stuck in the chasm for hours, lying in pain with all his broken bones and golden ichor (god's blood) flowing out of his body.
Fortunately, night had fallen and Eurhelles' mother was doing her trip through the sky. Selûne saw his broken baby body lying on the floor of the chasm. Distraught she rushed down and scooped him up.
"What happened my beautiful boy?" she asked. Eurhelles didn't want to tell his mother what happened. Eurhelles wanted to protect his brother from his mom's wrath. But part of him wanted to get a little revenge on his sneaky little brother.
"I wanted to fly, so I jumped."
For weeks Eurhelles planned his revenge. By the time Eurhelles realized his problem he was a young boy already. Eurhelles' problem was that he wasn't as smart and cunning as his brother. Eurhelles was only good at one thing and that was fighting.
Eurhelles went to Moradin (the dwarven god of creation) and asked for his help. Eurhelles wanted a beautiful sword made for him. So Moradin did so charmed by the young god. Moradin crafted a beautiful sword for Eurhelles called the Cometfell.
Eurhelles knew exactly what he would do with this sword. Eurhelles walked up to Eurstreich holding the sword tight in his hand.
"Hey brother I want to show you something," he shouted at Eurstreich. As Eurstreich turned around, Eurhelles took Cometfell and drove it through his back. Eurstreich collapsed on the ground laughing.
"That wasn't a prank," he laughed, "but it sure was fun!"
Eurstreich stood up and leaned on Eurhelles' shoulder while still laughing. Eurhelles was fuming confused about how Eurstreich found this funny. But then he found the humor in it all and started laughing too. He pulled the sword out of his brother's back and the twins set off laughing.
