The Shattering Storm
On the last day of Shaamand, a blinding flash came across the sky through all of Yeshilan, followed by a destructive wave of deafening thunder that destroyed much in its path. Buildings were leveled, coastal regions were swallowed by the seas, and large portions of the population were destroyed in the magic burst that rolled across the lands.
Though the cause was never discovered, the storms have never returned. And the people of Yeshilan have worked for centuries to rebuild what was destroyed in an instant.
