Tiefling

"To be greeted with stares and whispers, to suffer suspicion and insult on the street, to see fear in the eyes of so many: this is the lot of the Tiefling. Their appearance is the result of a pact struck generations ago which infused the essence of a demon or devil into their bloodline. While not at fault for the pact itself, they and their children and their children’s children will always in some way bear the burden for their ancestors act."     Traditional Homeland: Throughout Yeshilan   Physical Description: Tieflings are derived primarily from Human bloodlines, and in the broadest possible sense, they still look like their humanoid parent's race. However, Tieflings also take on aspects of their infernal heritage- some have large horns that take any of a variety of shapes: from the curling horns of a ram, to straight and tall horns like a gazelle’s, or upward spiraling like an antelope. They may have thick tails, which could be scaled or furred. Their canine teeth are sharply pointed, and some may even grow tusks. Tiefling eyes are solid colors— often black, red, white, silver, or gold—with no visible sclera or pupil. Their skin tones cover the full range of human coloration, but also include various shades that match their demon or devil line- including deep reds, blues, purple, stark white or pitch black. Their hair, is usually dark, from black or brown to dark red, blue, or purple. Some may have paws or hooves instead of humanoid feet, and others may have bat-like or feathered wings as well.   Lifespan: The average Tiefling lifespan is 80 years, slightly longer than the average human.   Size: Tieflings generally range from 5 to 6 feet tall and weigh 125 to 250lbs; though a line of Dwarf, Halfling or Gnome-born Tieflings would tend to have a shorter build, and those from an Elvan line might have a taller yet thinner build.
Mistrust of Tieflings makes for a difficult childhood for many outside their own communities
