Yggdrasil

Yggdrasil is a set of worlds protected and loosely governed by the gods of Asgard, led by Odin the Allfather. Lately, however, they have been showing up less and less. This caused various malevolent forces to run rampant and no world has been spared of this chaos. Giants from the Frigid Wastes of Jötunheim are pushing further and further south to reclaim the lands now inhabited by smaller races, the Scorched Expanse of Múspellheim where various factions of fire giants fought for dominance since time immemorable now lies silent, necromantic cults are on the rise in Midgard, ancient forgotten beings are emerging from the verdant forests of Vanaheim, darkness spreads across Alfheim, seemingly uncurable plague has hit the outskirts of Nidavellir and a mysterious organisation known as the Serpent Brotherhood started revealing their influence over various places of power. Could it be that these events are unrelated or are some powerful dark forces at play? It surely doesn´t mean that Ragnarök is coming.
