Axebridge (Axe-bridge)
The city of Axebridge covers an area of approximately 1006 acres, with a total population of 44 thousand people. The city has 318 noble houses. The peace is kept by 269 guardsmen, and there are 108 advocates to assist with legal matters. For those more concerned about their soul, there are 795 clergymen and 36 priests. The great city of Axebridge is the capital of the gracious Kingdom of Eiswelth. It stands upon the Exsonee Prairie where it began as a small tribe. The leader of the tribe was disliked and overthrown by the tribesmen. A new feudal government was instated and the small tribe grew into a village which began conquering the nearby tribes and instating their laws. The city focused on their military and introduced 3 great commanders which commanded The main features of Axebridge are the thick stone walls which reached around 40 feet tall and 12 feet thick. The farmlands around Axebridge reach for miles over the hills surrounding the city which provide trade and food for the city. The city has two layers of walls, the second walls containing the castle, where the king, nobles and lords of Eiswelth reside and all the military barracks and training grounds. The main marketplace contains the finest blacksmith in the peninsula and the adventurers guild which takes on new adventurers for training, blacksmithing and much more. The Tower of Magnus is where one of the mysterious great commanders resides. The tower resides in the military district, which peaks over the walls for all those to see. The renowned military of Axebridge is made up of noble retinues and an elite paladin unit which are trained since birth. King Markus Lodewicus is from the same dynasty as the first king of Axebridge and is what some would call a ''Warrior King'' and participates along side his commanders during battle. He bears the ancient crown of Axebridge, made of fine gold from the city of Letath, with beautiful jewels from Wildestar. The three great commanders; Nix Riversong, a powerful human mage, Tai Feng, a strong barbarian and Paige Truestrike, a holy warrior of Kiri-Jolith are renown to be the greatest warrior of the time and have seen countless battles throughout the continent.
