Creation of Doivis

The universe began devoid of life, an empty space with Gods who roamed, fighting amongst themselves and there was unrest between them. In this time of unrest, 4 gods, later to be known as the Ancient Ones, came together to create the planet of Doivis.

The universe began as an endless void. This void was home to many gods, who would fight amongst themselves and wage war on one and other. In these desperate times, the 4 Ancient Ones known as; T'zaarkan, Tlaxcha, Uztla and Izel came together to create the first form of life: the planet of Doivis. These 4 gods forged every piece of stone, earth and element within the planet and placed the foundations of civilization. It is unknown which race came first, but it is written in ancient carvings that the Elves, Dwarves and Minotaurs were some of the first races that came to pass. These 4 gods were pleased with their creations, and many gods followed in their footsteps, creating their own realms and planes of existence. But this time of peace would not last.   As gods began to create their own realms, a peace was achieved at last, and war was a thing of the past. For a time, the universe prospered and the gods lived in harmony, looking over their own realms. Within this time of peace, a storm was brewing right under the nose of the arrogant Ancient Ones. A god by the name of Thornheart began to deceive and trick the many gods of the newly united universe. Lies and rumours spread, and before a true peace was achieved, a civil war broke out.   Gods fought Gods and sides were split into two sides; The Principal Gods and the Chaos Gods. War was waged between realms and the realms were ravaged. The Ancient Ones did not partake in this war, and instead protected their planet. The war lasted an age, and the end was nowhere in sight, so the Ancient Ones decided to take things into their own hands, and assisted the Principal Gods in defeating the Chaos Gods.   The Chaos Gods were defeated, and were either eventually locked away into their own hellish prisons or fled to their own realms. At the end of the war, the only realm left was the mortal plane and the surrounding planes around it. The Principal Gods were thankful for the assistance from the Ancient Ones and each side signed a pact, agreeing to not wage war on each other, and if there ever was another sign of a chaos, they would band together to defeat them once again.
