Dai'Shan

Being called a Dai'Shan means that you are a blade master of the highest caliber, marking you as one of less than 10 people in the entire world who can truly call themselves so.

Qualifications

In order to be declared a Dai'Shan you must prove yourself worthy.
One method of doing so is to kill a recognized Dai'Shan in honorable combat with witnesses who will vouch for you.
Another method is to get a council of three recognized Dai'Shan to agree that you are worthy of the title.

Requirements

Any creature of any race or age can potentially become a Dai'Shan, all that matters is their skill with the sword.

Appointment

The process of being raised usually involves a ceremonial gifting of a blade to the new member by the elders who accepted them. Along with the new Dai'Shan being given a tattoo somewhere easily recognizable so that anyone going into a fight with them knows what caliber of blade master they are dealing with.
