Seriban Region

The Seriban Region is the second largest region on Ocearia, home to the subrateras, a race of giant, docile herbivores. The region is completely separated from the rest of the world, with a large wall reaching over fifty feet above the surface of the ocean. The region is located within the Hingrel Ocean, also the second largest ocean on Ocearia. It is currently the only region with a wall that exceeds the sea surface. The region currently has the best relations with other kingdom, because of their docile nature they were establish some trade routes with other kingdoms.

History

When aquiloids began to evolve once again, they formed into a herbivorous species that was much more docile than their cousins. This new species were named subrateras. They moved into shallower waters west of the Kirinian Region, and found Sunev Island. They claimed Sunev Island, and began to form a small civilisation close to the shores of the island. When the threat of other, more aggressive sapient species rose, they constructed a large wall surrounding their entire kingdom, which went above sea level to prevent them from simply climbing over. Over hundreds of thousands of years, the kingdom grew, and it grew so much there was no more space in the kingdom, leaving the species only option to expand north. A large group snuck out of the kingdom and started building a new wall in the deeper waters, north of the region. This went very successfully, and they were able to break down the original wall, giving them double the space they previously had. This made the Seriban Region the second largest region on Ocearia. The new expansion gave the subrateras access to a huge supply of new resources, making the kingdom much more powerful.
