Slimeball
Rules
The two teams in slimeball must face off against each other in one arena. There are ten players and one captain per team. The captain will stand motionless for the duration of the game, only reaching out to collect slimeballs tossed back to them.
Players have five minutes to find all of the slimeballs, which are hidden around the arena. There are various fixed and moving objects in this arena to slow the players down. The team with the most slimeballs by the timer finishes wins.
Obstacles
The most fun part of the games for spectators are the obstacles. Spectators can donate money while watching, and every time the games reaches a new donation goal, more obstacles are added to the arena. These can include large balls, fake slimeballs to trick the players, portable tunnels and walkways, and even bapycaras who will stop the first person they see and demand cuddles.
The arena will come equipped with obstacles before the games, however. For an entire week before the set of games begins, the arena will be raising money for various charities. The more money donated, the more obstacles are built into the arena. The highest donation goal introduces a slime ball pit, and all of the slimeballs are magically teleported into the ball pit. Fake slimeballs make up the majority of the ball pit to trick the participants.
Charities
Almost all the money raised from slimeball games are given to various charities. In the upcoming week to the matches, a charity is voten for by the public. Since the games are focused on raising money rather than actual competitions, the same charity receives money regardless of what team wins.
These games were not originally designed for raising money but just as a means of having fun. When the 250BMS Grand Xexiala Slimeball Slam promoted the Rot Ridder Foundation, a charity organisation dedicated to helping those afflicted with Slime Rot, the money raised helped over 30,000 slimes with the condition, and promoting charities within slimeball games became the norm.
Teams
There are typically two teams in slimeball. There have been games with double the teams and 255 slimeballs, but these are less common. Teams are picked at random; the names of volunteers are put into a hat and are randomly selected. This is to discourage toxic spectators rooting for specific players. Players are temporarily dyed a specific colour to match their team, using a combination of spare slime and food colouring.
All players of every team will receive a small sum of money, as a thank you for volunteering, while the winners will also receive a small trophy.
Bapycaras has to be the absolutely most difficult obstacle they can add — nobody in their right minds would resist the demands for cuddles after being intercepted! Sounds like a fun sport and the interactivity granted to spectators using donations to up the difficulty is a nice touch. :)
Thank youu! Yes, bapycaras are IRRESISTABLE xD
