Nidlhammer

In a vast, dank cavern miles below the Galentaur Forest there lies the sunken Duergar city of Nidlhammer.
It exists in the pitch dark, under the grim rule of King Moradin. Once a proud Deep Dwarf who waged ceaseless war with the Drow, Svirfneblin, Grimlocks and others, Moradin and his clan were enslaved a few decades ago by Illithids and now serve the Elder Brain.
As such, the Dwarfish forges are now largely silent and an aura of bleak solemnity pervades what was once a thriving centre of excavation, metallurgy, crafting and bloodthirsty rites.
